Centerpieces

I found all these photos hunting around on The Knot and Project Wedding. Yeah…I can be a conformist sometimes. I’m not proud. But often I can find beautiful things to give me inspiration for something equally as beautiful, yet not quite as mainstream. Here are some of my favorites.

I love these centerpieces. To me, they look very fall, but manage to incorporate my colors. They’re a little taller than I would originally imagine my centerpieces today, but I like that they’re still simple and I can leave the rest of the table looking neat and clean.

I’ve been eyeing these from the moment I looked up colors online. Colored water and candles are beautiful, easy, and keep the joint looking classy. Hopefully they’re not too hard on the credit card, either:

I love these! I think that while the green in them might be too summery, the clear water with something inside add a bit more interest. Of course, fall leaves won’t work, but I’ve seen a lot of these type decor with different flower petals or stems. They kinda look like a funky shotglass. You know, to get in the mood.

I like the small yet eye-catching shape of this. It’s not so much that it gets in a conversation’s way, but it’s certainly not something you’d overlook at your table, either.

Just some thoughts. Got any recommendations for me?

Speaking of recommendations, have I got one for you! I was able to talk up my  big news from the other day-The Urban Bride has asked me to be a part of their blog team! I am so unbelievably excited and lucky to be a part of this. So I wanted to make sure you were reminded (over and over again) to view the website, because the whole team of writers have got some incredible pictures, insight, and stories to share with you.

You can go to The Urban Bride to see the whole website or if you want to see the whole team, you can go here. Scroll down and you’ll find me (I’m–surprise, surprise–the smart-mouthed chocoholic!). My new post will be early this week. I can’t tell you how thrilling it is to see my name there!

Happy Monday! Let’s have a great week.
